Sometimes, when people say "I've got some cards for you. They're from the '80s...", it turns out OK.

This old Beckett graded 10 '87 Bo Jackson was in one such batch. I'm not sure if I want to know where it came from or what it cost (I have this bad feeling that it's part of a Don West Special), but it is pretty cool, even for '87 Topps, which I have waaaaaay too much of.

  1. Found you through Bo of Baseball Cards Come to Life, and man, have I got some cards for you if you want to trade! Among the most interesting:
    - Up to 151 Albert Belle cards (I was collecting him, I'm looking to stop collecting him to refine my collection, I see you collect him haha)
    - 1969 Topps Chico Salmon (Seattle Pilots)
    - 06 Bowman Draft Pablo Sandoval
    - An A & G Vlad Guerrero Mini
-And I'm willing to bet I have cards you need of Jim Abbott, Harold Baines (at least 83 Topps), Bert Blyleven, Oil Can Boyd, Dave Cone, Jim Eisenrich, and Jim Thome (at least his 1992 Topps RC). I also may have some Sixto Lezcanos, Bob Walks, and/or Rusty Kuntzes that you need, but awesome names are kind of my thing, so we'll see on those.

All those cards for whatever you have that I need. Oh yeah, I guess I should tell you what I need! You can find my wantlist in the sidebar on my blog (http://greatsportsnamehalloffame.blogspot.com/) or you can email me at timothy dot dustin at gmail dot com. Easy enough.

Hope to hear back from you!

  2. Wow, that's a lot to process!

Definitely interested, though. I'll be in touch in the next day or so, though it may take me into next week sometime before I can really dig into my trade boxes.

    Thanks for getting in touch!
