Latest Topps Diamond Score

Over the course of about a month or two, I traded up from an '82 Vida Blue (which I got as part of a 23 card package for the '75 Yaz/Cepeda '67 MVP card) to this, solely by trading Vida Blue and Luis Tiant for each other. I actually netted this for a '77 Tiant on a lark, because I was getting stonewalled on the '75 Blue and there were no '76s available). The eventual goal was a '71 Blue, but 1. no one's got one on the site right now and 2. upon careful review of both cards, while the '71 is legendary, the '74 is at least as awesome if not even more.

Yep, barring a knockout offer, this is a keeper.

  1. I've got a 2005 Steve Doetsch I'll trade you for the Vida Blue.

I've not been trading much on the site. I should, I guess, but I don't know what I'd work for.

  2. Do what I do. Build up the collection in slow increments (offer a card for a comparable card from the previous year), take multi-player deals when they come. I've turned 14 cards into 87 so far, a good chunk of which are pre-1980. Not a lot of '60s stuff and no '50s right now, but I figure I can build that back up once Update comes out and a new influx of codes gets used.

  3. I agree with Scott. I redeemed four codes all year. I ended up with two 1974s and two 1988s. I was able to turn them into about 9 cards from the 70s which landed me a Sabathia Diamond Diecut.
