I can totally live with this...

Obviously, not an ideal grade for anything, but totally reasonable (look carefully at the bottom corners; knew that going in, not surprised by the grade). Mostly, I just wanted the card authenticated (so, despite my knowing what a real '86 Fleer Jordan looks and feels like from the experience of owning one years ago, I don't hear "Is it real?" for the rest of my days).

  1. That's awesome! Did you buy it, or have it from way back when?

  2. Bought it at a garage sale over the summer, along with a bunch of other '86 Fleers and an '86 Topps Jerry Rice.

  3. It's actually my second Jordan, had a complete '86 set that I built, sold back in '95 and regretted selling (of course) so I'm probably going to build another one over time. The hard part's taken care of, so why not?

  4. Beautiful card... IMO, it looks nicer than the grade. Have fun if you should decide to build the set. I'm in the opposite boat as you... I have a the whole set w/o the Jordan :-( One of these days I'll go out and buy a graded version.

  5. Oh, it looks great. I just knew exactly what the flaws were when I submitted it, so there were thankfully no surprises when I got it back. Here's to you finding one of these out in the wild as I did, or if not, finding a graded one within your price range (tough for just about anyone).
