No, the base cards aren't tiny. (We'll get to that later.) I just get lazy and scan multiple things at a time sometimes. Base cards of 4 guys from my player collection in one blaster! Not bad.
Topps is doing another one of these with Bowman. I got 2 code cards. I'll let you know how I do once this thing's actually sending activation emails, which it's not at the moment.
2 "Internationals". The Jon Jay is up for trade.
A gold Matt Kemp for renowned Bowman hater Night Owl.
w00 Anthony Gose. If I must get these abhorrent gold cards 1 per pack, at least they're of guys I like sometimes.
Orange King Felix! Numbered 69, DUDE!/250
This X-Fractor of Jordan Zimmermann looks a LOT better off the scanner bed. It's seriously trippy looking, the refraction looks circular in person. They nailed the X-Fractors for this one. Will be looking for some of my dudes like this, and might actually get them because these aren't numbered.
Remember when I said something about minis? Do not be fooled by this card's apparent appearance of being a full-sized card. It's one of the mini Chrome deals, and being that it's Jose Fernandez, it's a pretty good one. No numbers on these, either, but screw it.
Yeah, no kidding. Auto out of a retail blaster. Didn't I hear somewhere that they were actually making Bowman autos harder to pull? And this truly is a (Josh) Bowman auto! It's on a base card. I don't remember them doing that with Bowman prospect autos. Still. Auto!
All in all, a very good blaster, and I *never* say that. It's almost always the Blaster Walk Of Shame, especially after something like Bowman where it's so Guys You've Never Heard Of-heavy (and the past 2 draft classes were kinda slow, at least as of right now). This was good, though! I feel decent about it. Hopefully y'all have some luck with the product if you get in on it!
Also: I didn't scan 'em, but I've also got gold Beltre, Longoria and Lance Lynn cards, if anyone's interested. Everything else was basically keeper material.
